A unique single shot, falling
block action pistol. The
receiver is constructed of stainless steel and constructed in such
a manner making the receiver extremely strong and safe! The mating
of the precision machined receiver to a quality Douglas barrel results
in a pistol that performs like a finely tuned rifle. The barrels
are free floating to maintain the consistent accuracy through a wide
range of fluctuating temperatures. Barrels of different lengths
and calibers are changable with the use of a spanner wrench. The
MAXIMUM uncompromising safety is provided by the manual transfer bar. A
unique device in itself, the transfer bar button must be in the "safe" position
in order to load and unload the pistol. To fire the pistol the
button must be moved to it's downward position, which can be accomplished
only after moving the hammer to the rear. The MAXIMUM comes factory
equipped with precision adjustable open sights. The receivers
are drilled and tapped to accept M.O.A.'s ringed scope mounts. The standard grip is smooth on both sides. Also available
in the new 17 degree finger groove grip. Shot groups of 1/2" and
less at 100 yards have been obtained with most of the chamberings that
we offer. The M.O.A. MAXIMUM has been used in the sport of silhouette
